A major maverick eruption & ginormous flouting of rules & conventions! Recorded in July 2015, Endogeny & Exogeny, an entirely improvised excursion with all three musicians never having previously played together & recorded in a single day, severely effloresces the Avant-Jazz, Extreme Improvisation & “Cosmic” tilting genre/terrain to new escarpments. From some of the most drastic, frenzied & chaotic turbulence, to hyper baroque & consistently complex nuances & sensitivities, sprawling space-scapes, foreign-planets & supernatural eco-systems, anomalous instrumentation (eleven cow-bells/jam-blocks, ice bells & a guiro integrated into a full drum-kit, multiple FX pedals, magnets & even an FX/distortion unit for/on the tuba!) the album expounds on the profound & peregrine, pushing intellectual & impetuous envoys deep’ deep’ DEEP into the unchartered, inaccessed & abstruse extra-terrestrial outback. The insatiable propulsion, cacuminal hyper-floridity, fast stream-lined agility, intricate interplay & riotous three-pronged ultra-independent chaos will stretch even the most die-hard Free-Jazz/Improvization fanatics through a channelled codex of extremes, variant expressions & emotions both familiar & utterly alien & individual. Noise-mellifluence-antiphonics-precision-free fall, amok, oblivion, creation in a colossal cosmic cornucopia, challenging, original & adventurous/intrepid – way beyond safe & secure boundaries. Pretty much as unbridled & anomalous as can be, carbonizing convention & caution in massive harlequin irradiance.

The three emissaries are all potentate improvisers, composers & group leaders, each also having performed multiple stints with elite proponents of Free Jazz legend – Joe Daley recording many times with Sam Rivers, MG-Jackson with Oliver Lake & Julius Hemphill & Kikanju Baku ploughing new fissures in realities ozone with Roscoe Mitchell.

The session was so productive that an excess of material was produced that will not all fit on one regular CD. As a result of this surplus, the six track Endogeny & Exogamy CD will also precede the addition of a separate download containing three extra trax that will be available over the coming months called “Moon On Moon Megrim”. It will include a parallel-part representing the “大姐” from the albums mythological concept (a gigantic convolved coil of surrealist morph).

Endogeny & Exogamy comes in a special deluxe CD package with hand numbered copies (first edition of x500). The label issuing the CD is Ethnicity Against the Error, a label specializing in “intense abnormal kinetic Jazz” & archaic & traditional music & art forms from the Far East through the old Silk Road routes to Africa – intermingling with the vanguard of contemporary cutting-edge experimentalism & demanding esotericism & surrealism. An intemperate, recalcitrant, non-corporate, unregistered label art/cultural entity without expressive restriction run by bohemians & subversives rather than yuppies with degrees in business management & marketing.
