Doing this book justice is almost impossible, & this review will be hugely insufficient, as I can barely touch on the breadth & scope of the atrocities & perversions that the ultra-extremist collective behind this peerlessly nefarious movement present without spending days sketching the worst of it…. You are better off reading the book for yourselves.
But this dizzying exemplum comes courtesy of the watchful sentry Gil Durán, a man who’s almost every appearance & article has been a priority on my radar for the last year or so due to the exactitude, forth-rightfulness & “quiet” ferocity which he directs towards the subject. stern, sharply articulate, resolute & acerbic, he delivers forensic & unstinting critical eviscerations & ripping disclosures on the folly, horror, & unsurpassed malevolence on the corrupto-Thiel-pluto-death-cult & the fell fascist outbreak that it has infected Silicon Valley & both Trump marionette presidencies (a Thiel production) with. His greatly anticipated book is a stunning & staggering stronghold of superbly written & expertly researched incision on this insanely disturbing, perverse & poisonous movement & ideology that should be read & understood by everyone.
In all honesty, the enormity of these extremities that Gil so expertly elucidates – & equally the fact that they have – somehow – actually been allowed to gather, remain & advance – is simply agonising & unimaginable.
It is actually difficult to wrap the brain around, & calls into question, very seriously, whether the entire “social contract” is still tenable?
