Damage Assessment #1, Tory Misrule & the ongoing unraveling via politicized corruption:

life without soul – life without parole.

All in a day’s dirt. The remarkable acceleration of societal annihilation of unmitigated corruption under the Tories catastrophic 2010 takeover. Anyone that reads a decent paper regularly will be pummeled senseless by a withering torrent of daily degradations delivering the latest casualties in the Tories new plutocracy. It is so widespread, so prevalent & so fast flowing that it’s hard to keep up with (crisis’ after crisis’ after crisis). No doubt this is tactical, it’s almost impossible to keep stock or react specifically as it’s a continuing assault of tidal waves.

Foju 浮遊 Frequency, bottled souls shattering containers & visionary elliptic peregrination:

etchi-na!

Be still cretin! Foju 浮遊 Frequency (Foju Fuyuu Frequency) was a 3 section Abnorm, Poise-Spore sundry comprising Kikanju Baku on drums, Adio – noise, FX-pedals, voice, guitar & Mimi Cobra Kobayashi on synthesizer, voice. Their paranormal dalliance was legendary & without restraint. The assembly was rabid from something like 2011-2013, recording a series of rituals & excavations that rearranged accepted limits & predictable models. What was it?

How Forests Think-toward an anthropology beyond the human (Eduardo Kohn):

“Can forests think? Do dogs dream? In this astonishing book, Eduardo Kohn challenges the very foundation of anthropology, calling into question our very assumptions on what it means to be human – and thus distinct from all other lifeforms. Drawing on four years of ethnographic fieldwork among the Runa of Ecuador’s upper Amazon, Kohn explores how Amazonians interact with the many creatures that inhabit one of the world’s most complex ecosystems.”

Poverty Safari-understanding the anger of Britain’s underclass (Darren McGarvey):

A smashing debut from Scottish observer, pundit, commentator, rapper & social-activist Darren McGarvey (also known as Loki). His sphere? Let’s contract it to poverty-class-community, in which ever order you so desire. Growing up in Pollok, in south Glasgow with a whole heap of hard-knocks, Darren’s authority & experience outstands pretty much everybody in the spectrum at an elevated level (I can only really think of Stafford Scott, who actually doesn’t have as much access to established platforms).

Danny Dyer, David Cameron, Twats, Fracking, Brexit, Double-Dealing, Treason, Sell-Out & Sell-Off

fun and games.

last summer, comedian, actor & Essex geezer Danny Dyer shot his virals when he rebuked David Cameron for his Brexit fiasco-cataclysm-disaster on a televised talk-show. With supremely justified ire, Dyer exclaimed his anger & disbelief at how the ‘twat’ had ‘scuttled off’ despite calling for the referendum that resulted in the momentous freak-accident. “Where is the geezer?” Dyer opined.

Battleground Chicago-the police and the 1968 democratic national convention (Frank Kusch):

The black movement had made it clear that all authority was the enemy. And they were giving even the real peace-loving-hippies ideas – and that was scary. It was a loose joining together, a sort of convergence, however tenuous, and that was the real problem in those days. We had to get that rabbit back in the hat. It became an us and them thing.” – officer Len Colsky

Pipe Dreams-the plundering of Iraq’s oil wealth (Erin Banco):

-particularly when they see how former high-ranking Bush administration officials who had advocated for overthrow of Saddam leveraged their government positions, contacts and insider knowledge to make huge fortunes from Iraqi and Kurdistan oil investments. Today, some of these very people continue to sit on the boards of, or have lucrative jobs as advisors to, the very same multinational oil firms.” Continue reading Pipe Dreams-the plundering of Iraq’s oil wealth (Erin Banco):

Maurice McIntyre-humility in the light of the creator CD:

A rare stray from AACM member Muarice McIntyre from 69. Maurice is a weltering saxophonist who crops up on a few sessions (I forget which ones exactly) here & there, but scorched the steeple black on Richard Abrams superb ‘Levels and Degrees of Light’ debut. This is his first LP as a band leader, & he has conjured a considerable entourage that extols the likes of Malachi Favors, Claudine Myers, Thurman Barker & more from the AACM quorum.
